The City of Jenks is accepting applications for the Public Works Department.
This job involves maintaining Beautification projects in the City of Jenks along with infrastructure maintenance related to; sewer lift station repairs; parks mowing and maintenance; and including any other assigned job tasks pertaining to the job. This job is full time with a 40-hour workweek, Monday- Friday. Hours are 7am-4pm. Full time employees receive eleven paid holidays per year, paid health insurance for self, earned sick days, paid life insurance, retirement contributions, and paid vacation after first year of employment.
This job is primarily outside fieldwork in all weather conditions and is labor intensive with shovels, rakes, and other hand tools. Starting pay is $10.89 per hour with overtime and weekend work frequently required.
Candidates must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License, a high school diploma or a GED (attached to your application), reliable transportation to work, and must be able to pass a drug test.
